Quality Considerations Reviewing the three main attributes when supplying gas mixtures

The use of aluminium alloy cylinders greatly reduces the possibility of chemical reaction between the gas and the
inner cylinder wall which is a traditional problem with certain gas mixtures in steel cylinders.
SIP Analytical Special gas mixtures containing highly reactive or acid forming components are supplied in Lifebond cylinders which have a specially treated inner cylinder wall.

SIP Analytical gas mixtures are filled to a tolerance of +/-5% of the minor component value where the composition is over
100 ppm and +/-10ppm where the component level is under 100ppm.

Standard Grade gas mixtures are filled to the standard tolerance but they are not supplied with a Certificate of Composition.
SIP Analytical Certified Grade gas mixtures are filled to the same tolerance as Standard Grade mixtures but they are supplied with a Certificate of Composition which is accurate to +/-2% of the component value.
SIP Analytical Diamond Grade gas mixtures are also filled to the same tolerance as Standard Grade mixtures but they are supplied with a Certificate of Composition which is accurate to +/-1% of the component value (typically +/-1ppm).
